Following the sun and rain of the summer months, our school vegetable garden has had a make over and is in full bloom this Autumn. Ned made up some fabulous raised vegetables beds for the garden during the summer holidays. We have onions, lettuce, carrots and rhubarb growing in the garden. Pupils sowed pumpkins in the classroom in paper cups last April and we replanted them in May. We now have a pumpkin patch with large pumpkins growing which will be harvested in time for Hallowe'en celebrations. We would like to say a massive thank you to Ned Gleeson for all his fantastic work.
